Equipment research is more useful when it shows how a recommendation was formed. Our first pass identifies the process question, maps the relevant system, and records the assumptions that could change the conclusion.
What we look for
- What the equipment is expected to do in the actual workflow.
- Which specification is relevant to that workflow.
- Where the manufacturer’s documentation leaves room for interpretation.
- Which trade-offs affect maintenance, control, compatibility, or safety.
